Our location in the North East of England means that Newcastle is a very cost-effective place to study. Rents and the cost of living are up to 65% cheaper than in London (QS Student Cities 2025).

Courses and Entry Requirements
We offer a comprehensive range of courses at undergraduate (BA, BSc, BEng, LLB) and postgraduate (MA, MSc, LLM, PhD) level, as well as Foundation and Preparatory courses. Most courses have one intake per year in September (see course pages for application deadlines).
Qualification verification
As part of the international admissions process for 2024 entry and beyond, the University may ask you to verify your academic qualifications and/or carry out additional finance checks.
If verification of your academic qualifications is required, the University’s Admissions Team will be in touch to provide you with instructions. Any required checks will be free of charge for applicants.
You may also be required to attend an English Language Interview.
